If you would of opened with this I would of valued your opinion a bit more from the start. Also a DaP Alt that has been in the guild for longer than a month and is 44+ has more plat than they would care to lose just FYI.

They are not going to run the risk of stealing something vs time n effort and amount of plat they have made.

So I still take offense to lumping us in with a rando standing in the tunnel looking sneaky and shady as fuck.

Plus if they steal and I find out well I hope you never have to .
This Nyclin guy talking about who to trust, never paid Asgard for his demon fangs MQ'd monk epic. Is stealing 50k plat bannable?

Ouch. And yes with proof.

I would offer to help transfer items between your characters using any of my characters. But since I am a subtle trade skill junkie, I would be fortunate enough to have something open on my cursor to even attempt such a maneuver! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Better to make the quick trek from EC to Nek Forest and then do the drop transfer some place off the path and away from a zone wall. Plenty of places to choose from.

I've seen GMs let you know who picked up the items. But it's not theft if you drop it on the ground and walk away. Never do a drop transfer.
Even if I was in Toxx I'd never do a drop transfer. Ask a guildie to make an erudite alt for a sec.

It's safe enough if you use some common sense and have a sneaky mind. Well, that and a fast connection and fast load times. I only had an issue once when starting on the server and that was my own fault for not thinking through the qualities of what makes a hidden spot good.

I will admit that I've scored over 70k+ plat from someone doing a ground transfer in a really BAD place in EC zone. I wasn't even tracking someone - I was just cruising along the wall on my way to WC and then Kithcore when I saw the bag graphic just sitting there. Yoink, and off I went. And no, it wasn't a Fungi.

I think an officer of ours dropped a Slime Blood of Cazic Thule on the ground during a HoT raid once and had been sitting there a while (most thinking it was fishing grubs). Luckily someone picked it up and came clean announcing it in guild chat, was some funny name and shame that day!

Doubting it would have been reimbursed if poofed or stolen though.

Like, recently? Or when you were like 12 playing live back in the day. If recently, then wow...you suck.
