Jaxx uncovered this duping and took the time to track it all down (major props for this). I had gotten tips that this was still going on but had never been able to find it.

Duping items, especially rare items, is probably one of the worst things you can do on this server. It reverses a lot of the work we put in and negatively affects everyone. We reiterate that players should not fuck with bugs/exploits and always report them to the staff. If anyone has information on people abusing or exploiting (including duping we may have missed), please report it.

We know exactly what the bug is now, and it will be fixed shortly. We're also making this public, so here's Jaxx's big list:

Everything's true (at least for me)- after I figured out how to do it i duped a bunch of my top end shit. I never traded any of it to anyone for anything, or even put it on alts to use. It sat and rotted on hoax until I deleted it a few days ago. I know it's not an excuse.

I've had a ton of fun on this server and played legit up to this point (again, not an excuse I know). If I ever get the chance to, I'll play again in a second.

Blows my mind how obvious some people were. The enchanter in the mexican guild walked around 24 hours a day with a charmed Froglok Guk Knight while dragging a macroquest heal bot behind them. Second most obvious was all the Heresy members doing the exact same thing.

Only that one guy from New Zealand was dumb enough to use visible speed hacks in front of everyone, every day, and it still took him like months to get banned?

Why do blue players get mad about PvP servers opening and look for any excuse to try and shut them down?

The only real big issue with cheating on TZVZ was people dragging macroquest heal bots behind them and occasional duping which probably also occurs on p1999.
