Kotaku Plays Doom, Skyrim And Fallout Pinball

Not a very good vid but he shows the new Bethesda tables for pinball fx2. Well, the console version of it anyway, there are no PC vids out yet since it's still a few days from release.
Best play vid I've seen is for Doom https://youtu.be/yNaVCmxO87U at least played by someone that doesn't seem like a total noob to pinball. There are only a few videos out so far, and the other two tables the play is so bad that I don't think validates how cool those tables seem to be, so I'm not linking them. But the first video makes up for it with commentary, even though horrible play hehe.

Looks like they put RPG features into Skyrim and Fallout. You create a character, level it, build up your inventory, complete missions etc. You save your progress from game to game. FX2 has that with Epic Quest, it's a good feature for replayability, and this looks even more elaborate. Hard to comment on them without better vids out, but overall they look around medium difficulty while having a lot of depth. The themes look and sound great, and the game play seems to be balanced rather than too easy or too difficult.

So the Skyrim table looks to be very different from traditional pinball. It's more of a persistent RPG where you play through the main story of Skyrim.
