The zek servers used to be pretty fun when it was limited to classic and Kunark. I don't know why they went so far with the custom zones and gear this time. Classic zones with added Luclin safe zones, new raid zones, custom gear, and custom spells is too much. The balancing is impossible with so many classes and changes. The older servers used to have a longer life and could be up and running with much less effort.

It really was perfect timing for devnoob/image to finally open a legit server and steal some long term members with red99 being stuck in Velious. Then they made this weird server.

First off, the old boxes took the same amount of time to level.

Second, the other boxes lasted a lot longer.

You have been playing Everquest since 1999 and have developed multiple personalities and identities on Red99 alone to help cope with your short comings. Your actions don't make me believe for one second that you wouldn't join their new server if the custom gear and zones were taken out.

Hey guys I had my pal Kesulos post earliar today for me. I drove down to North carolina this morning to visit my sister brother in law and baby newphew before I relocate to the west coast so I didnt have a chance to post yet today. I wanted to make sure I got a post in before the day ends though. YOU ALL ARE IN LUCK! I for some reason have a few pictures from zek on my laptop!
