IMO nerf quadkiting too. Doubt it was the initial intention of Verant when they put it the Targeted AE spells in the game.
May as well nerf feign death as well. VI had not anticipate FD splitting to evolve as it did. That is one of the things I liked about classic EQ though. Developers did not nerf unintended mechanics to force play to conform to their design intent.

Now item recharging, there is really no way to rationalize that whether it is useful or not ^^

Gotta agree, it was cool the devs just gave each class a bunch of 'themey' abilities, without thinking how they might be 'exploited' and letting it evolve from there... That said, most of the evolutions did eventually get nerfed...

Wasn't the quad kiting already a nerf from more targets?

Bashing staff. Whining about bards. Erroneous memory of how things worked in classic.

How is this not RnF?

well im quiting today because im tired of being train by bards and running in circles looking for anything to kill. I have seen quite a few people quit over these bards. Also if you think you were able to do that in classic your a fucking reject, you could NEVER do that on dial up. So goodluck all and have fun with these shitty bards, i suggest everyone just quit right now to save ya some times.
I'll tell you, here's a guy that's spent WAY TOO MUCH time in shitty ZEM outdoor zones.

To non-bards - GOT TO A DUNGEON

I was rocking 768 KBPS cable modem back in 1999. Only cost like 80 bucks a month.

Regardless of whether it could be done in classic or live or the current state of P1999, a bard (or anyone) pulling and kiting an entire zone is very clearly against the Global Server Rules for Project 1999 so I am confused as to why people pulling and kiting entire zones and/or causing massive trains aren't just getting reported and banned.

Zone Disruptions
Disrupting the gameplay for others in a zone is not allowed. This can include, but is not limited to:

* Monopolizing/Engaging/Occupying most or all of the mobs in a non-raid area. This can be with or without intent to kill.
* Causing deaths / experience loss for other players (Blocking players, intentional training, etc).
