shades of how Rush Limbaugh's vitriolic yet coherent and energetic radio production is merely a result of daily/hourly sub-acute opioid withdrawal due to tolerance.

^dead on, but i think you're a little mistaken about it being due to minor withdrawal. Kind of counterintuitive, but the actual oxycodone high makes you aggressive and nasty and easily pissed as well as loquacious. If the dude was falling short on doses or just maintaining, I think you would find he had less energy for spitting fire not more.

Guy like Rush, realizing his dependence on escalating doses, probably cycles down and withdraws during "vacations" so he can stay flying on the air.

Yeah true I think that makes more sense, I forgot to take that into account. oxycodone is known for what you said, puts you on a hair-trigger when your not under heavy influence and then with tolerance you're never under heavy influence. 24/7 Limbaugh.
