Yeah if you're passing camp to your alt, you have to log off = forfeit camp. No you're completely wrong.

i don't think you are understanding what they meant in the main post anyway. they aren't talking about the person who's already camping AC passing camps to their alts.... they are talking about putting an alts name as the contact information on the waitlist and parking their main at the AC camp for when the person is ready to turn over the camp. perfectly reasonable besides, if you want to camp over and switch to AC on an alt, you absolutely can if no one is around to immediately take it. you aren't obligated to let anyone know that the camp is going to be open for 30 seconds.

as a frequenter of OoT i shall explain the best i can
we are civil fair people, the usual flex is you find out whos on AC, get your name on list, as well as any alts you may be playing while you wait. When the ring drops, the camp holder goes to next person on list who is online in some form, and that person has until next ph or so to show up to claim camp. anyone on the list that isnt online is passed over and not re added. list might be 7 people, by the time ring drops the 5th person might be next on it. its actually quite fair. this is a player etiquette and not server rules, however most would observe this as being a cunt about it is just going to result in bad experiences should you choose to repeatedly camp it. as for ppl corpsing rings while others wait in line, no that doesnt fly, and never has. if you see someone doing this call them out.
