a snow cougar in sea lion clothing...

So I've been camping SF for the past couple days(hating life) when this thing runs up on me. Anyone ever seen this before in iceclad or is this some weird GM thing? I tried hailing it and got nothing so I did the next best thing and killed it!

I think maybe I have discovered some lost game mechanic where if you're out of food or drink for over 100 game-days you start to hallucinate

I know if you ignite bones on a sand giant they turn into tiny cyclopes once the skelly illusion fades, maybe something similar?
