Please help w/ account verification

Hello,

I've just set up a new account, but even after two days I never received a verification email. Can anyone reccomend a way to have it resent? I created this account only to gain access to the forums. I'm not sure why this one worked, maybe because I used a different email. Anyway, I know it sounds silly, but I'd really rather have the usernane from the first account. Call it... sentimental reasons.

Any ideas?
