Ahh the nostalgia, Fill me in on the Hibernia realm, all realms have got to be as good as Midgard, just different. How you liking it Gkmarino?

So far we got Skald, 3 warriors, 1 thane, 1 shaman, 1 bonedancer, 1 healer, 1 hunter, 1 zerker, 1 runemaster.

I met a group of guys from DAOC live that hopefully we can keep contact with throughout beta, everyone has been super friendly its awesome.

Cool, I'm glad you guys are working it out. If you ever feel like trying out any Hibernian classes, give us a shout in our thread or better yet, hop on IRC and say hello. Some may be trying out a couple of Midgard classes here and there, but most likely we'll be sticking with Hibernia all the way.

It was quite tempting for me to play a Skald again this time around, and I had a ton of fun playing it on Uthgard 1.0 and have also made a good number of friends over the years, from all 3 realms!

However, I had even more fun than that while trying out Hibernia afterwards, playing as a Mentalist - it was most very refreshing, while also somewhat close to being an EQ Enchanter which is the class I've played the most in EQ over the years.

Some of us are currently messing about, trying out different chars, we keep getting new people on a daily basis almost - it gets to a point where as soon as I finally compiled a new roster, 5 more people post in the thread and want to be added!

It's really hard to keep things organized when people use one name here on the forums, then another name on IRC, and yet another name when ingame - and no one wants to help out with any of it. Trying to lead something in this way isn't as fun as it may sound, so I may have to take a step back and let things play themselves out, cause so far it' has been a thankless job, and then people call me too negative while i have to carry it all by myself.

I join IRC to say hi and chat for a few seconds, but I have to go to back to work cause no one responds. I come back hour+ later and there is a huge rant thread by you. So fucking what if I have a different EQ forum name, DAOC account name & I might want to use one of my characters name in IRC. Boohoo, the way you ranted was so passive aggressive and just spewed negative energy. So now whenever you bitch about this I'm assuming its partly about me and whoever else (common) might have different names between DAOC/EQ/New Characters.

I like how you claimed that you weren't mad at anyone, well then why complain? I'm not saying your doomed but that was a really bad decision as a leader to rant about that in IRC in a two faced manner. Who knows what you would tell people in /tells or in /guild.. not my flavor, especially for a BETA of a game that inspires fun memories. Negative energy and focus on problems instead of solutions is never a winning combination.

It wasn't so much a complaint, as it was a request for some support from the people on the P99 Hibernia roster. I mean, if you can do a better job man, then by all means go for it. I just shouldn't have to ask each and every person for these details separately, and I wasn't talking to just you, I was talking to everyone in the channel - communication helps prevent people from being excluded when we gather to do P99er groups etc.

I saw you rejoin the channel with your in-game char's name afterwards, so what is the problem here exactly? You didn't like that I was asking people to use their forum names on IRC, and you happened to fall into that category? If you use a different name on IRC than the one you use on the forum, that's fine by me, but at least tell us who you are when you join the channel so we don't have to play the guessing game.
