Having lag issues with the planes, but other zones (esp EC) works fine

I'm curious...so, I play from Afghanistan (contractor, not military) and i know my connection is already horrible. However, I'm able to run around freely in EC even with 100+ people and yet when I try to raid in fear with about 60 people, hate (with less than 30), and plane of sky (crash to login about 75% of the time i try to enter world if toons logged there), I lag like crazy. Even when the zone has less than as many as EC will have.

Is there something specific with the planes? I use EC as the contrast cause there are so many more people and more dialog and whatnot.

Other info, I'm using crossover games to play on my macbook air.

Thoughts?
