Default Playing with a gamepad

Good evening - Im trying to get an Xbox controller to work with P99, the program Im using is called Keysticks. I got the idea from an old thread with a youtube video of it working. Well, I cannot get P99 to detect the controller/program so I would love to get some help with this of anyone here are using a gamepad to play EQ with [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

PS I use WinEQ to load the game

Not sure if it's the same issue since I use xpadder. Generally when eq opens it opens as administrator, and you have to make sure to open the program (xpadder) as an administrator too. Dunno if it's applicable in your situation, but I thought I'd at least suggest it.

hey, if you've got $50, the steam controller works great. it's what i use most of the time.

Thanks for the help, running it as admin worked well.
There seem to be several programs to choose from, all cost money, Xpadder, Steam controller and Keysticks, whats the best one?

I have a nice setup now, but the horizontal axis is alot slower than then vertical axis using the right control stick as mouse look, anyway to fix this?
