Default What is fun to do in velious as a druid?

I am a lvl60 druid who has not set foot on the freezing continent. What's out there for a druid to do?

There's some quests you can work on - Gloves of Earthcrafting from Plane of Growth and Tunarean Signet Ring from Wakening Lands.

Scars of Velious: Druids Awaken

Plane of Mischief is a great haven to use like 80% of your spell book as a druid

WW you can do some baller charming and killing as you are able to charm anything non-reptile and ice burrower

You can easily complete many of the 'run around' tasks for popular Coldain Ring/Shawl quests

You can also fly around and do some of the more challenging CoV quests a bit easier since you can Sow/port - Velious is basically barren waste lands of running

That's assuming he is a pansy elf.

What does any lvl 60 do? Gear up, practice tradeskills, help noobs. Tradeskilling was covered.

I'm assuming you are asking for solo. For grouping or raids, there's tons for anyone to do.

For solo, there is pitifully little charming options. You can do WW, where you can kite Tantor and Ice Burrowers. You can do a little bit of SG near the zoneline, but it's rough and the drops near the ZL aren't good. There are animals to charm in most of the outdoor zones, but the drops just aren't very good. You can also charm in Kael, but even with a beast pet (which is hard to get to) it's hard to get good drops out of giants.

You can also root-rot on the top floor of DN for a phase spider carpace.

...That's about it. You'll find nothing as fun and gratifying for a druid as Kedge.

Even manly Half-Elves can wear the Gloves. Confirmed best Druid race.

No, half-elves are inversely proportional, so they are doubly pansy-esque.

QFT, only true druids are the stumpy ones. Humans can come too but that's just because they're not from Faydwer

I just looked up the quests for the rings and gloves. That looks like it should give me plenty to do. Sounds like a good way to get my feet wet.

Erati, what did you have in mind for my lvl60 druid to do solo or very small group? I could use some velious gear for my monk (lvl57)

Also, I want to get thurgadin bracers for both characters ASAP.

I don't even have the port spells yet. I was reading about the keys we have to pick up, how annoying are those?
