Default monk 2hb

I have schw and a wu's 2hb. lvl 36. Looking to upgrade my weap. I have around 2-3k to spend. What is the best option? I assume either IFS or peace, am I wrong or are those the top two to go with?

I guess a second question I have, should I continue to just 2hb or switch to duel wield? I have a smite stick and a CoH in the bank, so would the 2-3k be better spent on a 2hb or a duel wield setup?

IFS and Peacebringer are, for all intents and purposes, equal in terms of damage output. On the lower end, IFS has a better ratio. Once you get higher in levels the PB pulls ahead a bit due to more frequent dmg bonus. PB weighs a lot and is ugly as sin. IFS is much lighter and looks cooler. IFS can be very frustrating when you get a run of bad luck because it's so slow. PB is more consistent.

Both of those weapons can be had for 2-3k. As to whether you should spend your money on them or buy a good DW setup ... that depends more on the rest of your gear imo. A good DW setup will be more expensive for sure. If your gear is good all around as it is ... investing in an AC/SoS combo is never a bad idea. If the rest of your gear is lackluster, go the less expensive route and save your $. Just keep in mind that PB/IFS are fantastic weapons all the way up to 60. Only on THIS server (bloated with excess gear and cheap SoSs) are they considered anything but top notch.

My gear progression was

WQS -->
IFS level 30 -->
+ AC/SoS part time start level 40 -->
AC/SoS most of the time starting 44-45 -->
Epic/SoS 99% of the time level 52

I keep IFS in my bag for dmg shields.

Thanks for the response!
My gear overall isn't bad I don't think. All the crescent pieces, red sash, and various 2-300plat items + schw. Would the smite stick + SoS be adequate for a DW setup? Ac is damn expensive to have for 10 levels or so before my epic lol. Like you said though, PB/IFS would always remain valuable for damage shields at the very least. Hmmm. Well thank you for the response!

IMO if you're not going to go double SoS or AC/SoS, i'd stick with PB vs IFS.

I have nothing valuable to add here, but you must be the lizard with the corpse half-buried in a Kelethin platform. Trippiest thing I've ever seen. Good job.
