In George Washington's day, only 14% of the male population owned guns. Why? Because one gun cost 2 months pay. And most of those guns were unusable. Why? Because they were improperly maintained. Even the ones that were usable were horrible for use. Why? Lousy accuracy and slow. Bows and arrows were still the best weapon.

If we can't enforce the gun laws we already have, doesn't seem like making new laws to make it harder to get guns is going to be the solution.

I agree if armed rebellion was necessary gun laws wouldn't even be on the table or an issue. It's too easy to get a gun or any other deadly piece of equipment in this country.

I kind of feel that you should also need a licence to prepare food for public consumption or build something for someone.

Laws and restrictions if properly implemented won't stop people who actually need the tools for a livelihood for example in the northwest.

What is a "modded" AR15 and what makes it more dangerous then a regular AR15?

.223/5.56 is a legal caliber to hunt deer and small game in my state. FMJ is illegal to hunt with in most states. Additionally .223 and 5.56 is a very small round, kinda like a .22LR on steroids if anything it is considered by most hunters to be UNDER-powered for big game hunting.

TL;DR Only a nutty liberal with a poor understanding of the 2nd Amendment and firearms in general would think a AR15 is overpowered to hunt small game with.

You might reconsider your source for those statistics which has been debunked by this paper. Gun ownership was more prevalent than what you claim.
