I go back and re-watch The Sopranos every now and then and it encapsulates that moment in time perfectly. I get the same feeling now as i did while watching it ten years ago. Seinfeld is the same way in that anyone from New York can watch that show and feel like they are back in the 90's. The jokes are still relevant and there is not a person alive that will not instantly recognize the opening of that show. They are now ingrained in our culture forever.
Fuk I miss good shows on T.V. Game of Thrones is pretty decent but it really does not compare to the two former shows that were mentioned.

I know exactly what you mean about the late 90's and Sopranos though, shit really takes you back. American classic. I remember being in a restaurant in the North Bronx on arthur ave, and my friend who attended Fordham and lived nearby said some shit about the stock market and what stocks he was investing in. I raised my voice a little bit and mock-angrily said "Your're supposed to be pushing Lobistics!!" and the 3-4 tables around us had a reaction to overhearing it and 1 table of of a 40 year old guy and his wife out for dinner legitimately almost choked on his wine laughing. That is the wide reach and impact Sopranos had. Everybody in NY.
