![]() Hey all,
I just wanted to hop on here and say hello. Just started playing today and had several people just randomly come up to me and help me out. Lol way different experience than what I remember Eq classic being but its for the better. I also wanted to ask and check now while my character was still young, are rogues something worthwhile to play? I plan on hopefully getting into some raiding content. I just want to be pertinent. Thanks, hope to see some of you on there.

![]() If you've got a good group to roll with, they are an amazing class to play. Why solo? Tis an MMORPG [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
We're recruiting at the moment (Saga of Lucimia) and have a slew of below 20 folks who are grouping up and leveling on a regular basis. May be worth your time checking out to find a community of folks to get to know, and level up with.

![]() Rogues are the top DPS class in this era of EQ. They are always welcome in raids and groups. They are also a stackable class, it generally won't hurt a group to have multiple rogues. You won't have much of an issue ever finding groups on P99. They are a gear dependent class as mentioned above, but you really only need to focus on a high damage dagger to start. There are relatively cheap options available. After you have a high damage poker, save your plats until you can afford a haste item (about 5k), which you should be able to afford by level 30. The thing that always seems to lack mention when discussing rogues is the fact that you can safely navigate 95% of Norrath, which makes you great on corpse runs, allows you to get to dungeon camps easily, and simply get to places others can't without great hassle. They are a fun class.
