Ranger solo in TD

Does anyone know if raptors in TD can be feared with panic animal? Been looking for a decent place to solo at 52ish. I have both epics and sky cloak, so I'm thinking raptors might be a good spot if they can be feared.

Don't think so, an older patch made them non-animal.

No. Druids were using raptors to kill fay in TD so they flagged it none animal.

Is that really what happened? I just assumed they weren't animal flagged at that point in the timeline. If so, sate my curiosity and elaborate on how one would kill fay w/ raptors. Pretty please.
