No matter which way you wanna spin it Nixxar didn't have claim to the camp according to the rules. You realize Nixxar was insistent that it follow the "Trigger mob" 20 minute rule which is specific to raid mobs right? He was trying to bullshit his way into winning the camp by claiming he should've had 20 mins to engage cause it was a triggered event. That 20 min triggered mob rule is the same one that is only specific to raid targets. REGARDLESS of that though. Whether you wanna look at the trigger rule for raid mobs or the generic camp rules the correct ruling was made. If you don't have a kill force ready at ANY CAMP IN THE GAME you forfeit that camp if another kill force is sitting there contesting.

Someone needs to write a dissertation on online communities and how greed affects individuals to act in ways they would not in real life when anonymity is involved. There would be some great qualitative and quantitative data from this site and the secret societies of guilds, guild forums, IRC channels, youtube videos, and rule debating websites that have emerged.

This game truly creates some sad individuals. For some reason this game attracts mostly autistic, drug addicts, or people with mental retardation. I'm not sure if it's the game is fairly simple due to it being 16 years old or what.

Yeah, he did- lets go through the major events, and describe who should have rights to the camp, shall we?

1 - Nixxar and friend duo and clear dudes happily
Camp belongs to - Nixxar

2 - BDA and friends show up and contest the camp. Nixxar allegedly trains BDA
Camp belongs to Nixxar, unless Nixxar trained BDA...in which case BDA should get it (still kinda a stretch though, they had been killing them for a long while with no issues, but I'll put this on the table)

3 - Nixxars friend logs out and quickly logs back in
Camp belongs to BDA, congratulations!!!! You did it!!!! You now have the camp to yourselves!

4 - BDA pulls a fucking train (INTENTIONALLY, mind you) to Nixxar/friend and BDA. BDA wipes.
Camp now belongs to Nixxar and friend again because BDA wiped.

Again, don't train. Nobody wins.

I think it's the finite resources available in the game. I can't think of another game that causes players to step on top of each other the same way. Having instances in games eliminates terrible erratic behaviors of people who need items to satiate the addiction qualities of a MMO.

I mean shoot, people spend hundreds of dollars on websites to that addiction feeling taken away.

The game isn't fun anymore when you have every item in the game. There's a reason god-mode servers aren't very fun. The addiction is what keeps people there.
