I always thought tunnel was stupid- my live server was NFP and that was logical to me...as there is a bank there and evils just did the tunnel thing (not like it was hard to faction nfp...)

Not to mention if you move all trading to Thurg you basicly will cut off the noobies from gear and buffs, making them much less likely to stick around game and get hooked. more players on the server > convenience imo

Most people come for nostalgia. Nothing is more immersion killing than skipping your levels 1-5 in your starter zone than getting a port to WC and then getting high level Druid buffs from 1-5 in EC. That's so boring.

Need more erudites in Tox trying to break Kobold camps and Half Elves getting knocked unconscious only to stand up and slay a gnoll in Blackburrow.

Players defaulting to EC and begging for buffs is a very sad start to P99.

When Velious was released on live and even after a few months, EC was still the 'hot spot' for trading.

However Thurgadin and GD were big trading posts as well. This is not uncommon and I've already seen a lot of trading action in Thurg.

On a serious note, almost all guilds/non guilded people are friendly with Coldain. So there is a lot of traffic in GD and Thurgadin.
