Pretty sure he's trollin', hardly any players in iceclad on red since the supposed removal of them, if there was still an infinite supply there would be all kinds of neckbeards farming them still.

I can't seem to get a straight answer. But I'm leaning towards no.

I was a little underwhelmed by BFG meleeing to be honest. It still functions like a bow, so its damage formula is vastly inferior to a melee weapon. Stationary nonrooted bonus + TS means it's still nice, but not earth shattering.

EDIT: To add... I don't think I agree with the bow dmg calc listed on the wiki. It feels more like there's just no double modifier like there is on melee swings. BFG primary on stationary nonrooted + TS feels like its swinging about like a 40/50 weapon, which is comparable to a 12-13/20 weapon in MH.
I'll post a parse againt vindi and lendi when we get to my desk but here are average swings

Non-trueshot non-crit : 50-120ish
Non-trueshot crit: 100-240ish
Trueshit non-crit: 100-230
Trueshit crit: max I saw was 450ish

This is with max dex

It can definitely be really nice, but I find my parses with it to be unreliable at best. Albeit I don't quite max my dex when buffed (~215-220).

Kinvalar, if you haven't picked up that 30/38 bow from DN yet, you should try it out!

Can get an even better one... The rats can, albeit more rarely, drop the Exquisite weapons. Managed to pull the 32/36 Exquisite one out of there last week.

It's definitely fun to play with, but I haven't really parsed the Exquisite bow in TS yet to really know if it'd beat BFG + Swiftwind in melee. Can get some really mean BFG double attacks + reliability of Swiftwind swings. Would be an interesting thing to check, though.
