Default Loosing Mana without reason

I have experienced some weird behaviour this morning. I had a lvl 8 druid, he got meditate, dinged back down to lvl 7, tried to reding and therefore used mana to nuke, sat down to meditate mana back up again and retry but boom - after medding up to 100% I got up and all the mana is going down to less then 10%. This behaviour happened again and again, sit down- med up to 100% - stand - mana down. Only chance to med up is to med while standing.

Trying to get back to lvl 8 and checking what will happen then - maybe its because in lvl 7 I am not allowed to use the meditate skill yet?

Try asking your fellow players before making a bug report next time.

You need food/drink.

nope, I didnt. I had several stacks with food and drinks (allways using forage). I wouldnt have posted if it was that easy.

And btw.... this would only explain why mana/hp does not get up. It would not explain why it drops. But I will ask my fellow players next time - they might at least read what I wrote.

This has happened to me before as well. The only thing that seemed to clear it up was to log out and come back in. >.<

It's almost like there is some huge disconnect between the UI and the server or they get out of sync somehow.

Pretty sure having no food / water only prevents you from regening mana, it doesnt cause you to lose it - right?

had the same problem once. i think the glitch was caused by the fact that i trained 15 pts into meditate, then dropped to a lvl where i couldnt meditate yet, thus glitching out the mana bar. fixed it by re lvling. pretty much gotta leech in a group till you get your mana back if your a caster like i was. heh

Well yes and no. If you dont have food or drink you can med all you like, but the second you stand up you lose a huge chunk of it because you shouldn't have been able to med in the first place.

Why it happens like that? *shrug* My best guess is due to how the client and the server talk to each other. You sit, client says ok you have med lets give you mana, you stand up client tells server you have X mana, server comes back and says, uhhh no you have this much mana, client submits like a bitch and we suffer [You must be logged in to view images.
