rogue and monk are best at pvp AND raiding so there's really no reason to pick anything else at all

Classic no here yes, who ever is developing seems to think Rogue's and Monks should be hero classes.

the insane damage and utility both those classes bring together make it hard to justify picking any other class unless to sacrifice yourself by fulfilling less important and fun but still needed roles like the one warrior/enc/shm or the two to three clr/brd/wiz for raids

as far as pvp goes a good example is 3 rogues or t staff monks will kill a rogue/enc/clr

3 rogues or t staff monks will kill a shm/mnk/brd

rogues or t staff monks will kill any other combination of classes that aren't rogues or t staff monks no matter the scale of numbers assuming you aren't massively outplayed or outnumbered

SK, 1 shotting harm touch disc in velious, you'll be able to collect all sorts of kills.

Most people say go troll sk for velious which is prob the right call. I am a big fan of the ogre sk tho.

SK in Velious is a one button hero, monk will be a wrecking machine.

I'm dead set on these two you could Maybe throw Ranger in the mix. Zero twinkage and it would be Iksar. Which one is better for Red solo and group pvp also to get into raiding?
Be an iksar monk. They are the 'go to' class/race for velious, you can blend into the crowd. No one will remember if you do something stupid, or piss someone off, because there will be 100 other iksar monk mains.
