Karg IceBear Spawn

Been camping him for a couple days now to do the werewolf quest. today have been on for around 5 hours waiting for him so far and no luck. according to the patch notes, http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4854 , he is on an 8 hour +/- 2 spawn. Just wondering what everyone elses experience with this is. I have read he can spawn and get killed by other npcs. If that happened I wouldn't even know.

Been camping him last 2 days as well, friend was in game for looking for him with tracking for 10+ hours, all he saw was Martar (or whatever the other guys name is) once. We later found out one OR the other will spawn every 8 +/- 2 hours, so because Martar spawned it would be 6-10 hours before another spawn and it may not even be Karg. This is seriously messed up for being a quest spawn, especially considering he won't live long once he does spawn. This is the stuff that reminds me why I quit playing live EQ in 2001. But sadly in live EQ it wasn't this bad, I'm not sure why Project 1999 changed the way this spawn works and made it rarer and harder, when it wasn't easy to begin with on live. I've been LOVING P99 and being back in EQ, but I have to say, this is bringing back all those memories of why I left. Ugh!

I have spent a lot of time in Everfrost doing newbie Barbarian shaman stuff and so I was always looking for Karg to do the Polar Bear Skin cloak quest. He is never ever up. I finally found him one time while hunting Mammoths for the Totemic armor quest piece. I turned in 3 skins and got 3 cloaks and then ganked him for his Cloak of the Icebear. I suspect that he dies as soon as someone finds him. Good luck with your quest.

Yup, this dude is alive like 1 minute a day on average. The chance that you'll meet him at that precise minute with so many player wanting to kill him is slim to say the least...

I stumbled across him recently when I was just wandering around the zone for kicks. I remembered I had a werewolf pelt in the bank. I didn't expect he'd be alive or I'd be able to find him when I brought it back, but with the help of a brave barbarian shaman, I made the connection and finished off the quest.

This beats the last time when I actively sought him out for about a week on and off before finally closing the deal.

Once upon a time, I camped Karg for about 8 days, spending around 10-12 hours online each day. I have no idea why I sat through that. He spawns, he's just a wanker.

I see him every day when I am camping orcs a bit east past the guards.

I have been looking for him the last two days when I can log in, but I'm not even 100% sure his path or spawn location (I think the tower near Permafrost then walking down the river towards where they meey).
