Raid targets, epics and rare items should just be given to everyone then in instances like EQ2 & other games. EQ was an RPG with quests and a competitive raid scene since the original game on live.

Players enjoy beating competition in an RPG, it makes winning more fun. Its what drove this server to such a fiercely competitive state. It takes more than 1 guild to compete and there were epic raids that just wouldn't have been as fun to win/lose without having opposition. Also this competitive RPG created guilds on live back in the day like FoH and LoS who paved the way through the game for a lot of players on other servers. It was a race always to reach the end game, get that loot & win over the competition.

DD
Sry bro but everyone is actively losing in EQ at times, all you can do is attempt to slow down or limit the amount of losing you do by playing less.

this retard with 10 posts thinking he knows me when he has only posted 10 times. He obviously is full of shit.
Sorry, the hypocrisy in this one made me LOL. This is seriously from the same paragraph. How is judging someone by their total post count not considered elitist?

I'm pretty sure that you're the only person on this server who doesn't not like you at this point. Why don't you go corpse some Bob Dylan records? I hear they're lore now.

Not to mention your avatar makes you look twenty times dumber.
While we're judging forum avatars, how about an action shot of a Steelers vs Browns game that's too resized to actually make anything out. That seems like a pretty dumb avatar to me.

You know you suck if the Alpha and Omega Clooneys can agree.

Other than chopping it up with some homies, train wars is the most fun I ever had on blue. Don't knock it until you've tried it. The threshold for successful guildwide organization and execution is much higher than normal EQ PvE. A few months ago I was really tempted to try to setup some off-night train wars in VP for whoever wanted to participate - captains choosing teams or whatever. It wouldn't be quite the same without the dragons up, but it would certainly be a lot of fun.

I really wish you would so you could see how few people are actually interested in this. how many people actually got to participate in the nitty gritty of train wars? Yeah not many at all. It'smostly a selfish 'pleasure' that you enjoyed so much; which is a reflection on you.

You had fun with something I never got to experience and are therefore a bad person?

We've all experienced "Train Wars" before. This game is 15 years old. You'd have to have some serious alt-itis to have never gone into a raid and experienced a train.

It's never fun, except maybe for the person dropping the train on a raid. And even then that person would need to be a pretty terrible person to get enjoyment out of the misery of others.

So Yea, Llodd is spot on here.

Clark is upset that the future is coming and it has no place for him.

He's currently posting on the TMO boards trying to get my gkicked in a thread mourning the passing of a member.

He's gone insane.

Clark's avatar is Antonio Brown kicking the Brown's punter in the face from a return last year. Just saying.

And only a Steelers fan or Browns fan would be able to determine from the crappy quality of the ultra-small men in the picture.
