I might. I'd also like ST to stay the way it is with the Sleeper asleep. Whatever post-Velious plans they have doesn't mean you have to wake the Sleeper. But I'm sure you guys will do it eventually just because you can.

The last patch included the sleepers.chr file, which updates the monster models available in the zone. Apparantly this is because in the last patch, Sleeper's Tomb was updated on Stormhammer (Legends Server), to add to the pre-awakening content, as well as add a completely new set of post-awakening content. This new Sleeper's Tomb should be available on all servers in about four to six weeks.

An Ancient Arises:

Deep within the recesses of a cave yet unknown to the world at large, a dark, menacing figure parts with the slumber that has kept him silent for ages. The eyes of a magnificently ominous beast pierce through the darkness, his memories flowing freely once more. A maze of dead ends and broken paths twists and turns in the expanse beyond the figure's resting place. The skeletons of those who had tried - and failed - to make their way to him in the years he spent in forced slumber remain, tumbled landmarks of heroes long lost. Slowly he moves, his reptilian eyes darting back and forth looking for any meager meals that may still be available. As he proceeds, he steps atop a mighty echelon, overlooking the bodies that could not defy the magical properties of the cave; fools of mortal thought, incapable of fathoming the power that lay beyond them. Sleeper's Tomb has been revamped with today's patch and is now called Kerafyrm's Lair. I am told that all the old items still drop, but that they have added new dragons, mobs, quests and items. We have some of the new drops included in today's update.

Also, not that it is evidence, but the question came up during the "big reveal" streaming party that there would never be prismatics on p99---they aren't classic. So, the devs have already made that part clear. the revamp'd quests and dropped gear will never be in. they aren't classic.

Hopefully the guilds with ST access and a force capable of killing the warders will not be asses. Its nice to hear the guilds, in some official capacity, declare that they have no interest in waking the sleeper "for quite some time" (whatever that means).

The past behavior of these guilds, if past behavior is any predictor of future behavior, would indicate a less than respectful approach to sharing. There is no reason to put any faith in the top guilds on p99. They do what they want when it pleases them.

We can't just let anyone in on the sleeper kill. We need to set up a series of gatekeeper mobs so that casual scum don't get to something they do not deserve.

What and a "Classic" server with an influx of high end toons with a 16+/- variance on raid mobs with the correct hip points and equivalent expansion gear does? This to me is the same. Either way it's pixel fun, so to me they both count.

How about you NEVER wake it? Seriously, just don't, it's ok if we have a lot of SoDs etc. on the server. ST without the Warders is desolate and boring and it wasn't that big a deal on Live because you have Luclin and beyond to play but on here Velious is it ... there isn't anything else to look forward to.

But u see guild A will farms 150 SODs then wake the sleeper to inflate the value on them to millions of pp. Are u new here?

sorry...at least p99 LOOKS classic...this video is a cartoon of weird EQ-like things, including a gingerbread man, killing the sleeper.
