Question I get disconnected after character created

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to play eq for about a week and i have been having the same problem over and over. I am using eqemu to open up my eq. Everything loads up fine and i can pick a server no problem. I can get all the way through character creation process. As soon as I pick a name that is not in use and try to connet to the world. The next screen that shows up is a black screen with it saying that i have been disconnected. It than boots me back to the login screen of eq. I have uninstall and reinstall a few times. every time it works perfectly all the way up to that point. I am having no other issue besides just not being able to enter the world. I have tried search through the threads for someone else having this issue and have found nothing. I have made sure that i am running it in windows xp service pack 2. I have made sure my eqhost files and said the right things. It seems like something so simple but can not figure it out. PLease help and thank you.

You are probably picking an invalid race/class combination that is not enabled at this expansion level. Which Race/Class are you trying to create?

You are only able to create class/race combinations that were available in Classic EQ. This is not something to be fixed. It is working as intended.

Halfling ranger not classic and it should be disabled (if they ever figure out how)
