A pure DKP or DKP bid system also allows people to sandbag and warmbody in rags until the first Vulak kill and get a BiS item. If you're going to force people to spend it then you're basically back to a council system anyway.

Progression guilds have never ever been pure DKP.

Cant do dkp in velious. Tanks, clerics and 2 monk pullers have to be geared before everyone else. Pure caster gear should go to enc's for cc and buffing. After that then go to dkp. If a bard/rogue is getting gear over a warrior/monk it is pointless.

sure u can. u over thinking it. kunark was 6months on live and guilds cleared velious. we got 4 years of kunark gear. we gonna be way better geared come velious

I'm trying to level on red but so far I've found at the very low kevels, I couldn't find anyone to group with. Don't have any friends to start with.

Sniffles received a PD earring for his gallantry in derailing a VP train to give us the space we needed to force out the snout on repops.

Cimarron is a recent also a recent BLUE convert that makes most RED raiders look BAD. Received Shroud of Veeshan because of his immediately presented value to the guild.

In both cases, I don't think a single person that has been hard bearding it since Holo day 1 had any problem with either of them getting the top loots that they did. I definitely didn't. I am so glad to have an influx of brave and knowledgeable members who are ready to step up and seize the pixels they deserve.

If you're trying to sand bag DKP and afk raids like the good Duke taught some of you, you got it all backwards. Well if that's your guild contribution strategy and you think that's how people should be rewarded, its going to look real corrupt from where you're sitting.
