I honestly know this feel. I mean I sorta liked gold n silver too, but the majority of the new ones I am not a fan of. As in like Emerald, and on. It's kinda like EQ. the difference is that the quality of EQ expansions went dramatically down compared to the original offering, while the quality of Pokemon games went dramatically up. There's honestly no comparison; you're just explaining why you refuse to try the better new games.

I played up til Emerald. I still liked Yellow the best. I hear good things from the new ones, but ill probably let my sons play them when they get older.
