Default Raid Discussion - STOLE MAH IDEA

Since I can't post this in Raid Discussion I'll post a little something here. Make all raid bosses on scheduled simulated repops! I had posted this originally back in mid 2014. Stop trying to steal my idea STRIKER!

2.
Guilds can only go after 1 raid boss at a time.

3.
All guilds must be outside of the raid mob’s zone when the timer pops.

Basically, it would replace current spawn mechanics with scheduled earthquakes. Keep in mind this is a very rudimentary guideline, but it would allow for competition to continue within P99 and it would stop poopsocking and endless hours of CoTH ducking.

Anyone have any opinions/suggesting to add?

edit: I don't particularly care because I don't raid anymore. I'm just trying to be helpful and find a solution that everyone can tolerate.
What do you guys think about getting rid of current spawn mechanics and just making everything repop at the same time?

The last time I spoke about it though the Devs didn't want to seem to have anything to do with it because not classic.

People pitched it prior to the raid changes too.

Regardless, they're not going to change the spawn mechanics of the game to placate angry raiders because they can no longer cooperate with one another.

I don't understand why a guild couldn't just have a dragon spawned for them. Let the people who don't want to be in a rotation FFA and train the shit out of each other. The smaller guilds, OK your Trakanon spawns at xx hour. Be there, kill him in a certain window, or he despawns and you get shit.

My above idea is kind of like instancing the dragon or plane pop. Just have to make sure that the total number of mobs spawned doesn't get outrageous to make the server any more inflated with loot than it is, but everyone will get a shot. Imagine, having a full plane of fear repop with draco and CT to do the way the zone was intended instead of training all over the zone.

the process is already in place. the only adjustment would be to remove separate variance and have the first triggered spawn under the normal 7 days +/-12 hours trigger all the mobs to spawn at the same time and give an emote (earthquake).

it would really be simple coding and it would already be automated how it should work. That is for the regular weekly spawns. The fix for the 2-4 extra respawns would be to add a code that has a random countdown timer that checks afte each earthquake: 50% chance that after a repop, there is an earthquake event in the next 1-6 days.

If the proposal passed by all guilds, it could be implemented within a week of lazy off hour coding.
