this problem is created by sellers who don't actually say up front how much PP they want for an item.

they do this because they don't to screw themselves out of getting more PP for an item than they were could've potentially gotten from someone who was willing to pay more, so they are deliberately vague.

the result ends up with passive aggressive bickering like the interaction seen in OP.

yeah, i don't say how much I want because that's a fucking chore. I have so many items i'm not going to constantly type out the price tag. And I don't try to hawk for the extra pp. I always sell items on the low end of market value cause I want to gtfo and also provide deals to the community.
