Run the game in the exact same resolution as you have your monitor set. Edit the INI file to make that match.

It's not what reso you run the game in, it's that the reso is the same as your monitor. The crash occurs when they are not the same as the most common reason for the error you described.

make sure fullscreen is off in the config file, also make sure you are changing the right setting for resolution in the config file (there may be more then one) by ctrl+F and find all instances of the word "width" and change the width and height accordingly to what ur normal resolution is at

no good this is what the ini says now

[VideoMode]
Width=1920
Height=1080
WidthWindowed=1920
HeightWindowed=1080
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0

still crashes at the same point ... i can give you the codes if you like maybe that will help some i dunno

* edit - my resolution on monitor 1 is 1920x1080 and the second monitor is 1920x1200 if that matters at all i made it off the primary

Wait, your running a dual monitor setup?

Hrm... I thought I remembered reading that was problematic.

Ah yes, a quick search for Dual Monitor comes up with multiple threads and work arounds. One thing that comes up a lot, can't run it in full screen mode with dual monitors.

May want to check the other resolutions and suggestions from those threads.

i am not trying to run in fullscreen .... which would mean that wouldnt be an issue the window would just be smaller or wahtever ... on the smallest setting it still gives me the error

"the instruction at 0x02a645b4 referenced memory at 0x0374f0cc the memory could not be read "

thats the latest error message and i have seen now if i recal correctly 4 different codes .... now again everything i have read says its resolution problem ... but i have done every resolution fix i have read about ... not only my own but my cousins computer exact same problem in the same house as well if that matters .... at this point i really just dont understand at all ....

also when we used to play before we also had 2 monitors as well whatevers different now or whatever ... i even got another copy of titanium incase the one i used every other time was corrupted
