Raising faction with Priests of Life

I'm trying to do the Shining Star of Light quest in Qeynos with a Dwarf, but I'm having trouble raising faction with Astaed Wemor for the juice turn-in. Does anyone have any tips for quests that improve Priests of Life faction a lot?

So far I've been doing what I thought were the best options with these quests:

• 4 blessed oils
• 10 rabid pelts
• 9 fang/moonstones
• 37 bonechip turn-ins

I started out as apprehensive with everyone, and now I'm indifferent to the merchants and amiable to the guards, but Astaed Wemor hasn't changed. Is there something I should concentrate on more, or be doing instead?

I did the gold turn in to Lashun Novashine in Qeynos for priests of life faction.

It's +1 per 2gp.... and in qeynos.

2gp or bonechips. No setup, no special thing. Only issue is he almost constantly walks, so you have to follow him around to do the turn ins. Minor irritation, but doable. Need to be at least dubious to him for turn in.

1. Line up trade window next to your inventory window.

2. Find Novashine.

3. Hand him as many pieces of gold as you want to do total turn ins to prime his MQ wallet. (May already have a bunch of gold in his MQ inventory).

4. Hail Novashine.

5. Ctrl+Mouse for 1gp on cursor.

6. Trade 1gp to Novashine complete MQ of 2gp.

7. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 a few hundred times. You can get a good repetitive cycle going and hold him in place and slam out 1gp MQs to yourself pretty quickly.

Also the putrid skeletons at the Grimrot camp in South Karana give +Priest of Life faction hits.

I don't understand what you mean by "prime his MQ wallet?" Is the normal quest a 2gp turn in, but you can get more benefit by loading up the NPC first, and then give him 1gp at a time?

In my experience, Novashine always is primed - I've done hundreds of 1g turnins without giving him a chunk first - give it a try.

You can also do frostbites fish the easy way. Camp your toon at the pool in qeynos. Bring a lvl 2-3 wiz or such to the pool, dont leave the pool (youll quickly be kos, but guards wont agro you in the water), but kill fish until you get a fish loot. Login to loot/turnin.

Yes. Otherwise you have to either pick up 1gp twice using ctrl+click or set the selection box to 2. Priming allows for super fast and easy turn ins with a quick hail after each one to hold his attention and keep him from wandering away.

Example:

Novashine has empty wallet (usually doesn't, but this is just an example)

Give him 100gp.

100gp isn't what he requires, so he holds it in his MQ inventory.

Hand him 1gp to complete the first MQ, he now has 99gp left in his MQ inventory.

Another 1gp, completes second MQ, he now has 98gp left.

Rinse and repeat.
