![]() I've got the dreaded memory allocation error>crash when trying to run EQ on a different device, with Windows 8.1
I reset the eqclient.ini and ensured WINDOWEDMODE=TRUE. I can get to the first page, to click to accept the EULA, and then it crashes. Usually in the past, a fresh eqclient would work, but it's being stubborn. I've also tried compatibility modes and running as administrator.

![]() You don't login and get past server select? Thats usually when it crashes due to incorrect settings in eqclient.ini. You need to set the parameters in the VideoMode section as well...
[VideoMode] Width=1600 Height=900 WidthWindowed=1600 HeightWindowed=900 WindowedWidth=1600 WindowedHeight=900 FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32 FullscreenRefreshRate=0 Regards, Mg

![]() No, it crashes at the start, right as you would normally see the login main menu.

![]() I picked up a copy from Casey, and that fails as well.
So with no EQclient.ini, with a preexisting EQclient and a fresh one made from only the options editor program, I still get the error. Does the Titanium really need to be installed? I don't install it on my other systems, just copy the folder across. Maybe it's Windows 8.1 issue?
