Even when you turn the corner from the bind point towards the Icy Terror he wont aggro you until you go past the rock. You also will not have casting Line of Sight until you go past the rock. Also I was just in there a while ago dragging a corpse out from the pits. None of the giant currently have see invis up till the bind point. You will have to root the Icy Terror however. | ||

When I did bear pits a long time ago, I would bind at the drop in point above the upper area. Little nook in the wall, nothing aggro'd there. Makes it easy to refresh C2 from someone (port out, gate back in).
I did have a firepot bind once, but I rebound elsewhere (Yay drunk gaming...), otherwise I would of never bound myself there and would of just did the train out trick to continue to get down there.

Kedge all the way.
Druid paradise. Charming is the name of the game. You just have to learn the pathing and aggro range of the mobs. There are some tricks to learn with Kedge but the exp (and some of the loot) is sweet There are some items that will save your butt in there: Leatherfoot Raider Skullcap (get one on an alt and set up your own recharge guy) an Enduring Breath item (rebreather, staff of the waterwalker, fishbone earring, etc.) and Goblin Gazughi Ring. Very handy for getting around and breaking charm when you need to Kedge was very good to me
