Hard to argue against that. How long as it been since weve been told not to share accounts, 2 years?

If the account's been brute forced, i guess dish out permabans but knowing Terp's character i wouldnt put any kind of money on that scenario. If youre gonna put time in there to investigate, id do thorough research and if you can prove it wasnt brute forced then id permaban every character Terp ever touched with any regularity, just to make an exemple out of wasting a GMs time and sharing accounts.

Could have been someone with access gave the info. Gms have already said that hacking a password is very rare.

It may be rare but it happenz. I had an account that I never shared with anyone get it's password cracked and gear stripped. In this case the GMs "knew what happened" and were very helpful in returning everything.[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

they did years ago, but he has changed his info at least half a dozen times since then

I've changed my PW a whole bunch of times and there are times I have used PW's that ive used in the past. There is a chance that I used one that Digital had originally. Regardless it's someone I gave info out to at one time and I get to suffer the consequences for it now.
