In all seriousness though, I'm surprised name and shame is so well-received in this forum. I realize reputation matters a lot in Everquest, but the concept would is generally frowned most places. If you made a mistake like handing out your password to an army, how about you just take personal accountability for your own foolishness?

Most rational people blame the thief and not the person who trusted a friend. I find it really weird that outing scumbags for being scumbags bothers you.

You were beyond negligent. It's not like this was your best buddy for life. This was just someone you knew. You said that you felt like being in a raiding guild meant you had to give your password out to many people. Someone else posted in this thread that you gave them your info just to drag your corpse, and they felt uncomfortable about it because of how little they felt they knew you. How can I view you as a victim in this point? "Trusted a friend", give me a break.

Yes, the guy is a scumbag, but he doesn't have my gear. I don't hand out my password to people just for a corpse drag.
