Does the rule apply to the forums? What I mean is, is having multiple forum accounts that you post from against the rules? Is it a bannable offense?

I only ask because I'm a dickhead and want people to squirm a bit at the potential answer.
Almost everybody has multiple forum accounts, shouldn't be an issue.

I think some people actually pride themselves on their multiple forum accounts.

Jibeknn of Red can teach you guys the finer points of multiple forum accounts (and multiple personalities). Guy even has conversations amongst his different forum accounts.

That's exactly why I asked. I would like to see the mods make a ruling one way or the other and change the course of forumquesting forever forever forever forever forever forever forever

I don't know much about coding, so I'm guessing from what I've read that means two EQ's were open on one machine?

Did you play on the Sleeper server? Boxing was allowed there, and abused, and made for a lack of groups - SoloQuest can be found on every other EQemu server, go and 14 box like the rest of THF do if you want that kind of "classic" <3
No, I 100% don't care for boxing, I just love the people in threads like this that will sit in their chair all high and mighty against someone that was boxing as if people didn't do it, but as soon as someone groups something else up in the same boat, they defend it like there is no tomorrow so that they can use and abuse said mechanics that did exist in the same form as boxing was in 1999 (for example, that's why I pointed out item recharging). Again though, I personally could care less for boxing, but I wouldn't jump as fast as I could to accuse someone of ruining the classic experience of the game for doing something, that well, existed during classic.

These rules are in place though, and should be followed no matter how much someone agrees with it or doesn't. The OP is dumb to not only try and get out of it like the staff is some kind of morons, but to keep arguing after someone on the staff pointed out how they know for certainty that they were boxing.

I am not saying this guy is innocent or not. Who knows for sure. But I have a IP exemption with my son and he is TERRIBLE for going afk for phone calls from his girlfriend, friends, going to take a crap for 15 minutes at a time, etc. you name it. I am amazed we haven't been banned.

I used to 6 box on live and loved it. Getting way too old to do that anymore, but I can see the Devs not wanting it on here, but boxing was classic like it or not. It would suck to get banned if you were innocent so it is sort of a he said, she said, thingy for sure.

I would be not be telling the truth if I said I never moved his toon out of harms way a few times when he was on the crapper. It is a slippery slope. But I hardly ever play anymore so no big deal to me. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Meanwhile, barely anyone across the whole game was doing the item recharging with vendors stuff during this period. And yet it remains. That classic experience ya'll.

During Kunark it was uncommon, but Velious it was becoming common knowledge. To the point that they had to nerf darkness scepters sell back from the Warrens to prevent its use.
