Screenshots-Where?

You likely have it installed in more than one directory. The shortcut that you use to run EQ, open the properties and see where it goes to, check there for your SS folder.

Checked, it's only under 1. This is unreal. I almost want to uninstall and try again. Thats a huge pain in the ass tho.

Are you pressing the in-game screenshot key (minus key on the numpad by default) or print screen? Does it say "Taking a screenshot..." in your chat window?

If you have User Access Control setup you may need to run EQ as an administrator or it won't have permission to write you SSs in your directory.

I don't have a copy of my eqclient but I'm pretty sure there was a place in there that specified where the screenshot directory was located. Find the directory it points to and make sure your account has full control to it.

You could run FileMon from SysInternals (Microsoft owned now, free tools) while you take a screenshot and see where it's being written to, if at all.

Does the debug.txt or log whatever show anything about screenshots?

Going to download the Filemon. See if I can figure this out.

I can't even find debug.txt. I'm not totally new to pcs, but I'm also not the best. So who knows if I am looking for it wrong.
