Moved. What changed?

Howdy,

So, I just moved to a new place. Haven't actually logged on in almost ..2 months? Probably closer to 1. Got internet set up, tried logging in, and I get the:

"The instruction at 0x02c5f0ce referenced memory at 0xffffffffffc. The memory could not be red. Click on OK to terminate the program"

What gives? Did me moving have anything to do with that? Same machine, same login, only thing different is location. Also, fair warning, I'm ridiculously computer stupid. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.

Wait ..ok. I changed my resolution and it worked. I guess that was the difference, I'd forgotten. At the old place, I had my machine hooked up to a big ass TV with a crappy resolution. I have it hooked up to my monitor now, with a higher resolution, so I guess that's what's stopping it?

Old resolution (works) 1024 - 768

New resolution (doesn't work) 1920 - 1080

So, I gotta just keep it on the crappy resolution if I want to play? No workaround?

Have to go into your eqclient file and change the resolution to match what your monitor is and it should work.

i tried finding said .ini file and it was nowhere to be found,so i couldnt solve this problem,otherwise i would be playing :/.

Windows will put the ini file elsewhere if your EQ is in Program Files and you aren't running As Adminitrator.

found it,but now i have a memory read error that i cant seem to fix,so i kinda give up for now.
