To the O.P. - the wipe topic should have been deleted as soon as it was posted. i'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I would bet money that most of the voters in that poll don't even play on Red. I'd also like to point out, that MANY people who play regularly don't even read the forums, let alone vote 'yes' on wiping everything they've ever done.
Finally, a voice of reason in this cry fest. I voted no for wipe and i know TONS of other players who play 100% according to the rules and would quit and never come back if it was wiped. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. No one is going to waste putting back all the time they've played and progressed here. The only people who want a wipe are the ones who want the server destroyed, or are just bluebies or lowbies who don't have the gall to put in some time and effort to get up to par with the higher level guys.
I'll say it again: The only thing a wipe would do is crowd the server with a few hundred lowbies MAX all leveling up in noobie areas getting that fresh feeling back, but after a few weeks to a month, it will start dying down rapidly when people realize all the work they've done in the past is gone and never coming back. No one in their right mind wants all their gear and characters deleted.... unless they have nothing here in the first place... and that's what i expect. Only ones who call for wipe are people who have nothing to lose and don't care or don't know what it's like to get good on a PvP server.
This is a GREAT server, the best in existence for PvP. You all need to stop your complaining and crying because you don't get your way. Stop taking this free gift for granted and actually be thankful we have this server with a decent population and staff. If the staff constantly took a majority vote on important subjects that affect everybody, the server would have died a long time ago because most people are ass-hats who have their heads up their asses with no common sense when it comes to this..... and (ironically) only care about themselves in these kind of polls rather than the good of the server/community. Which makes the outcome of the polls deceptive.
bunch of man-babies, I swear.. Stop being idiots before you just ruin it for the majority of us who actually like it here....
P.S. the people who post those sick pictures in ANY thread should be hit VERY swiftly with the ban hammer, even in-game. You kind of people ruin good things for the good people
