Velious UI window background color/transparency

I thought I remembered seeing somewhere a /command that would set the window background color and transparency for specific windows in the velious UI, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Anyone know what they are, or have I imagined this?

IIRC this was a feature of the original Velious UI before custom UIs were available. I don't think the original Velious UI is accessible in the current client so you will have to edit the UI XML files.

Correct, but you can change the background and transparency from the right click menu on each window.

The right click menu only changes alpha for the entire window, not just the background, correct?

I decided to just edit the actual window background .tga files.

Actually if you change the background of the window to solid color instead of a texture you can edit the colors I believe. Good call Savok.
