I dont even get the point of boxing. you can solo things so you need to create a second character to do it? I just think boxing would be harder than soloing

Convenience. Imagine playing a monk that had a tame druid in tow - healing, buffing, damage shields, snare/root, porting, carrying the loot, selling and banking, and no having to find a quiet spot to transfer gear/plat. You'd have much, much less downtime. Sure, if you find a partner to level up with you, you'd have the same benefits at your disposal, but not everyone plays in the US time zone or has friends interested in reliving a 10 year old game.

It's all moot anyway - their house, their rules. I box on other servers (Shards of Dalaya) but I prefer the classic game.
