Just watched a bunch of videos. This game looks awesome I need it to come out sooner.

Only interested in joining a guild that dominates the PVE aspect of the game and gets the best loot.

Also I'd like to avoid PVP entirely if at all possible.

Can this be done in Archeage if so I may play?

LOL I never said anyone needed me. But you don't really band together, Pirate is a separate faction in Archeage. I already have a crew of about 40-50 rolling day 1 that will make an Expedition force(same as a guild for other Factions)

But the more Pirates rolling together on raids the more money you make pillaging. You can't really pirate alone. You need a captain to steer the ship, people to run the cannons and than more people for boarding parties, and deck defense.

The more Galleons you have, the more cannon-fire you can lay down and sink ships with. If you want to rob the largest guilds your gonna need a fleet to do it.

Archeage is a total sandbox at end game. If you want to run Dungeons build a farm, raise chickens and cows and do tradeskills all day your free to do so. However one of the best ways to make money is to take your wares in packs to different locations to sell like liberty island.

Everytime you do that you run the risk of being PK'd, and it is open world pvp so you cannot avoid pvp entirely. There's also allot of raid bosses out in the world like EQ so your gonna get some pvp battling over them.

Are the dungeons instanced with some sort of queue/dungeon finder so I can warp directly from the barricaded fortress of my home city into the instance of the dungeon and back?

absolutely so if you stick to the cities you can prolly avoid most pvp. They have the wow battleground and dungeon aspect. But outside of safe-zones there is allot of world pvp.
