I use myself to protect myself from myself.... or Nocsucow's mother to protect myself from myself's self.

Spybot S&D v1.6- an antiquity that is still updated, also comes with Teatimer, a preventative anti virus tool. The new spybot really isn't that great by comparison.

Some years back I began to constantly get viruses no matter what scanner I had on the comp. Got Teatimer back and have been virus free since early 2011.

As a result there are no viruses/root kits written for the kernel...
