Default Enchanter int vs cha

Just a few chanter questions while I reroll my chanter as a DE.

How important is CHA to a enchanter?
how exactly does it help with charming?
How should I be prioritizing my stats while leveling?

thanks for the help.

charisma is the most important stat until later in the game when you need to focus on int and mana.

higher charisma decreases the chance for your charm and mez spells to break, which happens on a certain timer based on which spell you are using. sorry if thats convoluted, but basically you should focus on CHA.

If loading up on +cha gear gives you the confidence to charm dps in grps, it's worth every copper piece. I use all+cha gear, it gets easier to manage mana after the lvl 29 haste buff and even before then all that extra int might give you maybe 1-1.5 extra 5 minute haste buffs.

if you are just starting out on the server maybe focus int, because charisma gear is dirt cheap. Most high end items for casters has more intelligence than charisma though. I put 25 points in int and 5 in stamina. In my raid MR gear i can still hit 255 intelligence and I have no problem getting 255 intelligence and 200+ cha in charming gear. In short, it doesn't really matter that much.

You'll probably find better information in the Caster section of the Forum (at the very bottom).
http://www.project1999.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=66

The question of INT vs CHA has been asked and answered in that section of the forums several times.
Do a search and you're likely to find some good answers.

I would say look into these two guides to help answer the question better.
