New player advice

I came back to P99 and had great fun but I don't have the playing time I used to. So I really was not having much fun on blue. Had a 20 cleric and 48 druid.

I am intrigued by all the chat on the forums about Red server and the fact that the population appears to be up. Seen some bluebies posting that it was faked or an illusion somehow. Who knows? I don't.

Anyways giving Red a try. I used to be a cleric on live back in the day. Tried a druid on p99 because I always used to envy their SoW and Ports, Charm, etc...

But they really are not so fun in my opinion.

So my question is how are clerics here? In need? Too many? Good in PvP? Reading the forums makes them seem cool but looking for recent info especially given the changes recently.

Another question would be that since I am starting new with no gear or money, what strategies would you recommend for getting items and exp. at low levels? BB don't seem like much fun from what I read.

Last question. Is there any good PvP to be had at lower levels? I don't mind getting ganked, don't even mind loosing exp at lower levels. Looking for excitement to mix in with the grinding exp.

red server pop is up, but its still really low. on the flip side blue is starting to feel a little overpopulated, so choose your poison.

Everybody loved clerics. You should find lits of ppl looking to group you. Clerics can't do shit by themselves in pvp, they play more support (just like they do in pve). You will be targeted because you're a healer, but you have DAs etc for survivability. Try and be sneaky and hide from your opponents while you heal.
