![]() Tonight gonna work on making item pages.
Right now when you search for an item and there is no WTB/WTS nothing pops up. Now an item page will show, with item stats, link out to wiki and below will list the WTB / WTS. As more items are added to people's list I will be able to populate average WTB/WTS prices and maybe some other cool stats.. I am thinking of remove the toggles for WTB/WTS and server as well. We'll see how that goes.. will keep you all posted.. | ||

![]() This is perfectly fine because it doesn't break the RPG element of the game. It makes sense that people would post a list of their wares for sale on a town bulletin. It's much different than just turning yourself into a bazaar NPC and going to bed and it does all the work for you and you never communicate or haggle.

![]() Having done a fair bit of software development, I truly appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this app and the motivation behind it.
I'm not sure what I think about it. On the one hand, it isn't "real time" in game, doesn't have the "find trader" option, and does require you to interact with another person, making it far less offensive than bazaar. On the other hand, haggling, trading, and generally interacting with people was one of my favorite parts of EQ, and one of the things I was most excited about for P99 (sadly, the NFP zone wasn't used, not quite as much nostalgia for EC =p) I am distrusting of "improvements" that add convenience as others have mentioned, but I think that not everyone will use this (I won't, but good job), and so the net impact on EC population / the ability to trade with people in a "classic" sense won't be too drastically affected. Here's hoping we aren't leading ourselves down the same road EQLive took. | ||
