So devs basically ban people just on hearsay? Seems kinda weird to me that 1 guild cries over loot and someone is quickly banned without much proof.

can clearly see BDA getting FTE and non-BDA getting loot

which would only happen if BDA 'allowed' that to happen which wouldnt have warranted a petition in the first place, thus foul play was at hand and evidenced by the FTE on the logs

It wasn't rotting and it wasn't a hasty decision.

Your friend Saraya was standing on top of it spam-clicking alongside our enchanter with the intent to Ninjaloot. They had 5 minutes to think about what a piece of shit they were about to become, and what would become of their server reputation. They still chose to act like a complete scumbag and commit the worst 'crime' someone can have attached to their name on Everquest.

You forget that our enchanter got to be in Saraya's shoes multiple times before this. They saw the spawn only to loose the race on reinforcements from TMO etc arriving faster. Did Pricilia flip their shit and Ninjaloot? No. One - because that's suicide on the server, and two - because with the current server ruling on VT, all that matters is whose force gets there first - not who sits there permanently at the spawn. It's very common for two enchanters to nervously sit at the VT spawn waiting to sound the horn.

If you think the current state of ruling on how epic mobs are handled sucks (ie. "It should be locked down by who's been at the spawn longest!" vs. "Whoever gets the force for the kill first, FTE! FTE!") I would recommend taking it up in another thread addressed to the server staff. (Just prepare for all the Class-C trolls to come out of the woodwork and call you casual scum who doesn't want to 'work' for anything.)

Putting your arguments about it here, as weak justification for the shit your friend pulled, however - you're just coming across to the rest of the server that you think there is grey-area in Ninjalooting. To each their own, I guess.

Btw - Is Goofier your characters name in game? What guild are you in?

Wow, man, no, I specifically said I won't defend ninjalooting.
That was the worse after the bad, absolutely, no grey area there at all.
I only mentioned the looting in regard to the fact that if it's okay for BDA to take the mob away from someone that was there first, why isn't it okay for someone to loot the mob first? I don't agree with that, no, but I also don't agree with BDA coming in after Saraya had already been there waiting first.

Sorry to bring rationality to the discussion here, and I'm not excusing Saraya's actions (nor do I know shim).

But I can understand how staring at a wall on a monitor for 16 hours a day and having a guild come and jack the pop before your force got there in time could drive someone to go off the deep end.

Also, I have no idea how this spawn works (if it has to spawn by day 7), but dumb decision to remain un-anon if so. You are pretty much allowing any other competing chanter to /who all Saraya to see if mob is still in window.
