Bard aoe song effecting group mates

Is this a bug or working as intended?? Me and a friend from blue wanted to make alts on red. He made a bard I made a druid. We grouped up and his AE was hitting me.

As intent, your not on blue anymore. Soon he will help you to "save you from an xp death". Tbh though, he just wants to take a screenshot of your YT to use against you at a later time when your not friends anymore. Welcome to Red, hope your body is ready!
